We finished the notes today in class and started work on our “Organization of a Skeletal Muscle Poster”.  I have included the example picture in the Class Info – Google Docs link and have also included the rubric as well. If you have any questions on the assignment check the rubric and see if your question is answered on there.  Remember you do not need to include the periosteum, tendon, or striations in your group’s poster.  Have a wonderful long weekend, don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions.

Notes from today have been posted.  The notes will be under the Google Docs link and will be in PDF format.  The notes will typically say the date as their title.  Also posted tonight was the rubric for the Muscle Poster that you will be starting to work on in class starting tomorrow and carrying through Tuesday.  As always if you have any questions don’t hesitate to ask.

In order to complete your first assignment you need to make sure you “reply” to the discussion that I have left under your group.  You should be able to see the forum if you are in one of the groups.  If you are not in a group that is the first thing you need to do.  To do this:

1. Log-in
2. Click on the Groups Tab at the top.
3. Click on your Period number.
4. Click “Request Membership” on the right hand side

Once you have requested membership I will need to approve you so hold on until this happens.

After you have been approved you can respond to the discussion/forum.  To do this:

1. Click on the Groups tab at the top.
2. Click on your Period number.
3. Click on Forums or click on Home in the light blue bar that comes up about halfway down the page.
4. If you click the Forums tab, simply select the “Introduction” post and type in the box at the bottom that says “Add a Reply”.
5. If you click the Home tab, find my post and hit the “Reply” button.  This way you will reply to my post and not create a new post just out in space.
